| It all started with some threads found on a very familiar
web site called 3SI.org. For over a couple years now even thru an engine
replacement I have always had this idle problem especially when the A/C is
on, but lately it has extended itself and gotten worse. Now when I take
off (cold or hot) and push the accelerator sharply down it putters for a
few seconds before taking off. I haven't noticed what RPMS its doing it
at, but I'm sure its about the same as all the other posts I've seen about
this. All the friggin while I'm lookin stuff up
and come to find out its probably the IAC.
So, lets get to work and while
we're at it lets replace the fuel filter,
fix the washer pump and hose
that moronic mechanics broke and disconnected without telling me, fix the
potty shotty antenna in the back, replace the
drip line weather stripping on the door windows, sand
and repaint the windshield wiper arms, and
finally see about takin that ole IAC out like it says on Jeff Lucius' web
site. By the way, for the extremely NOOBest of the NOOB out there IAC
stands for Idle Air Controller, to the late later and latest NOOB person
or known as ISC sometimes if ya feel like it. I don't feel like telling
you what ISC stands for, so if you feel like its important go look da
shitza up. :) gleam gleam - This is likely responsible for all kinds of
funky IDLE shit with regards to air intake shit and fuel shit and stuff that
makes your engine put put putter. Why am I writing like this? Well, cause
I read too much serious stuff throughout the day at work and on the
threads, and I just feel like having a bit of fun with this insanely time
costing ordeal.
